Paper Engineer, Designer, occasional Illustrator and Concept developer. I design things out of card and paper which are assembled without a drop of glue.
I don't like glue.
Istarted my career as the in-house paper engineer at Quarto Children's books before progressing to new product designer. From there I moved into promotional marketing creating paper and plastic gizmos to go in cereal and crisp packets, along with designing other varied projects including designing a Star Wars exhibition and a Harry Potter board game. Since going freelance I have worked with various companies as a paper engineer and designer.
Here's a selection of projects I've worked on.

From concept design to final production, here are a few things I can help you with.
I like to think I can cut and fold paper with the best of them. Pop-ups, paper mechanisms and models - I specialise in designing 3D models that are assembled without glue, but needs must sometimes.
I've designed text-heavy books, gift books, puzzle books, children's books, adult books, pop-up books, books with components, instruction sheets and I've even designed a Star Wars exhibition.
Need something produced? From concept to delivery, I can help with that. I have designed and manufactured a number of products ranging from cardboard automata to a fairy tea party,
I have illustrated projects with licensed properties like Harry Potter and Jurassic World through to mythical creatures and Steampunk-inspired automata. Click on the illustration tab in the work section for some examples.
